Building Better People

Are You Concerned About Your Mental Health?

Mental health is the term used to explain your ability to cope with the stresses of life, your emotional state, social relationships and psychological health.

Most people will have a mental health challenge at some point in their life, even if it is only temporary and mild. However, when issues seem to last longer or are more severe it is important to address them.

Some people are still worried about the stigma associated with mental health but it is no less important than your physical health. In fact, often the two are linked and influence each other!

Do any of the following mental health challenges apply to you?

  • Poor sleep
  • Low confidence
  • Anxiety
  • Loss of focus at work
  • Depression
  • Stress
  • Difficulties managing sensory disorders
  • Personality disorder
  • Communication difficulties
  • A sense of lacking purpose in life
  • ADHD, ASD, Dyslexia and other neurodiversity
  • Anger management

If your mental health is affecting how you are feeling or performing at work (or causes challenges with you getting into work), we can apply for funding that will pay for you to have Strategic Coaching Sessions with one of our qualified mental health practitioners. We usually apply for 10 sessions initially and more thereafter if required, so you will be fully supported as we teach you the skills you need to feel better.

It is free to apply and the cost of your sessions are paid for by a government fund. In some cases your employer may be required to make a small contribution to the cost but this is usually only the case for larger companies.

You do not need to have a formal diagnosis of a mental health condition to apply.

The fund is not means-tested and will not affect your benefits.

You can be an employee, self-employed, a director, apprentice or intern. As long as you work more than 1 hour a week, we can make an application for you.

We have 14 years of experience in helping people to feel better.

Let us help you too.
