Make sure to give your mind a break every day to relax and process information. 3. Set some goals
Establishing a goal can feel like inviting a challenge into your life. While this may not seem enticing at first, consider that a goal is essentially a constructive challenge. Having goals is beneficial because they help minimise the unpleasant issues we prefer to avoid. Even if those issues do arise, they often seem less daunting when we have clear objectives in place. Additionally, goals fuel our motivation and enthusiasm, providing a rewarding sense of accomplishment that boosts our self-esteem once we achieve them. 4. Stop smoking/Get your body to the correct weight
Quitting smoking is the top priority when it comes to health hazards. Many people focus on self-improvement and invest in various courses to enhance their mental abilities. However, without good health, all these efforts are in vain. Your health should always come first, but unfortunately, many people only realise this once they fall ill.

5. Exercise more
If you’re already working out, consider refreshing your routine to avoid hitting a fitness plateau. Aim for at least three hours of exercise each week; while cardiovascular activities are preferred, any movement is better than being inactive. Remember, exercise doesn’t have to take place in a daunting gym. You can enjoy activities like walking, swimming, or ice skating—whatever you find fun! 6. Eat your 5 a day
Here’s how to follow the guideline of consuming 5 servings of fruits and vegetables daily. A serving is roughly the amount you can hold in your hand (for kids, it’s what fits in their little hands). Aim for a rainbow of colours on your plate—think green grapes, red strawberries, blueberries, yellow bananas, and orange carrots. Remember, if you eat two servings of the same item, it still counts as just one serving. So, munching on 5 apples in a day only counts as one serving, and the same goes for having 3 glasses of orange juice. Also, keep in mind that potatoes are categorised as carbohydrates, not vegetables, in your daily count. 7. Be more grateful
In the hit film “The Secret” the term “develop an attitude of gratitude” was coined. This means being grateful for what you have already. Remember that the Law of Attraction is working with a time delay. Feeling lack in the moment of now sends a signal to the universe to bring you more lack in the future. Feeling grateful now tells the universe that you are feeling thankful and welcoming. The universe will know that you are ready to receive and will begin pointing you in the direction of achieving what you desire in the future. 8. Give more
Make time in your routine to give to others. Giving your time or knowledge is far more empowering than simply giving your money. If you do give your money to a charity, find out about what difference your cash is making. Read up on tithing from the Catherine Ponder book “The Dynamic Laws of Prosperity” to find out more about the benefits of giving.
9. Forgive those that you need to
Holding onto past grievances and distrust drains your energy and dampens your spirit. I won’t dictate how you should go about forgiving those who have hurt you. Perhaps a simple phone call to reconnect is in order if it’s been a while. Alternatively, you might consider viewing an old situation through a fresh lens, recognising how it has contributed positively to your growth. You could even write a letter and toss it into a bonfire as a symbolic gesture. What truly matters is that you take action that allows you to release those negative feelings and move forward in your life.
10. Sort out your finances
I recently listened to a podcast all about manifesting money. Whilst it is important to be grateful for what you have to feel more abundant, it isn’t necessarily the most practical way to increase your bank balance, and I was surprised to hear that this was the general theme of the podcast.
To get your finances in hand, you have to first understand your current situation, If you’re in debt you need to know by how much, what the interest is and formulate a plan to get it paid back. If you’re investing, talk to someone who has invested well. You will always be better off investing in assets (e.g. property) than in savings which do not grow at the same rate of interest as inflation, meaning your savings are worth less each year. Remember that these days most banks are run like supermarkets, always trying to sell you additional products. Your banker is no longer an investor, but an employee who may have just finished his A-levels.
