Feeling of shame can hold us back in life, not just in terms of having the confidence to step out in life and achieve our goals, but also in the context of our relationships. Imagine attempting to engage with someone who is completely hidden behind a shield. This is what shame does to us.

There are two very important things you can do to rid yourself of feelings of shame but be warned, not everyone can be trusted once you put your shame shield down and you need to go in expecting a bumpy ride.
