First, we take a dive into why having responsibilities can be a good thing for helping you to, in essence, manipulate others by increasing the levels of empathy and trust they feel towards you. 

Then, we’ll look more closely at when responsibility-taking can become unhealthy and how it can be used to mask issues from childhood. 

Finally, I’ll give you some boundary-setting responses and frameworks to prevent you from overwhelming yourself unnecessarily by taking on too many of other people’s responsibilities. It’s delegating, but on a whole other level.
